Finding the right pink guitar for you

June 24th, 2010

Finding the right guitar can be difficult, for those of you who’ve got your hearts set on owning a pink guitar it can be even harder. Fortunately due to the increasing number of female players, many manufacturers are starting to introduce their own pink guitars to meet the growing demand. This article is going to point you in the right direction and suggest a couple of cheap guitars which may meet your needs.

Firstly you need to decide what kind of instrument you want, a pink acoustic guitar will generally be a lot easier to find whilst electric guitars tend to be easier to play. The choice really is down to you, I will say that most beginners will find playing electric guitar a great deal easier, simply because the strings tend to be a lot softer and electrics having a smaller action (distance between the strings and fret board).

If you’ve decided that you want an electric guitar then the Crafter starter kit is for you, it contains a pink electric guitar, Marshall Amp, chord book and variety of other great accessories. This pack retails at about £100 and will save you a lot of money in the long run, usually you’d be expected to buy a separate amp but by buying everything together you can get the best possible deal!

If you’re more of an acoustic player then the Vintage V300 pink acoustic guitar is probably the best instrument for you, this guitar retails at around £115 but has a sound quality that can compete with many higher prices acoustics. What’s better is, if you buy the pink guitar in a pack you can get a load of goodies with it, the perfect 10 pack only costs around £15 more than the instrument on its own but provides a strap, pack of guitar strings and a music book. This is probably the best deal you can find on a pink guitar over the net, definitely one to consider if you want an acoustic.
