Stencils For Perfect Eyebrows
If your want perfect eyebrows, and have no idea where to start, and can’t afford to go to a salon, then begin with a stencil. It’s a bit like working with paint by number, hard to go wrong.
What’s the best stencil?
That’s the key. Don’t buy cheap ones that’ll give you the wrong shape for your face. Invest in a set of well engineered stencils, which can be bought online through the Anastasia Beverly Hills salon or through Sephora. Choose one of the five that come with the set.
Which one?
You’ll need to know your face shape and bone structure.
1. is your face small with not very pronounced features? Use the petite arch stencil
2. is your brow flat without a natural arch? Are your features delicate but not overly small? Use the medium arch to create a little more shape without looking fake.
3. do you have large features, pronounced cheekbones and a brow bone that’s visible with a natural arch? Use the high arch design that’ll give you a graceful curve that blends with your bone structure. This stencil will also open the eyes.
4. do you have sparse brows? Are you trying to grow them out? Use the slim high arch but don’t tweeze too much
5. do you have large and very full facial features, perhaps larger than the ones that require the high arch? Use the full arch stencil so your brows match your features.
How do stencils work?
There are plastic stencils that you hold onto your brow while shading the area with powder or a pencil, then you can tweeze There are also stick-on eyebrow stencils that stay in place while you work. Anastasia Beverly Hills has both kinds. The easiest way to use the larger plastic stencils, is to color-in the brow where the stencil is open, then tweeze what’s not colored. With stick-ons, you can get a perfect eyebrows by sticking the shape over the natural brow, tweeze around them, and you’re done. Now add color and set with clear eyebrow gel.
