Delicious Chicken Pasta Recipes

Chicken pasta recipes are all over the Internet and cook books. It is an exceedingly popular recipe among different restaurants around the globe because chicken is one of the most popular sources of protein. Chicken meat is healthier that pork or beef because it contains less fat and cholesterol. However, the chicken skin contains high level of cholesterol that is why it is best to cut it before cooking. Easy Chicken Pasta Salad

Ingredients

1/4 cup toasted cashew nuts
1 box Rotini pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
1/2 kilo boneless and skinless chicken, cut into bite-size
1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Toast cashew nuts in a nonstick pan over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, and then set aside. Bring to boil 5 cups water with salt in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook 8-10 minutes over medium heat. Drain the pasta and set aside and let it cool for a few minutes.

Heat oil over medium heat in a large pan. Saute onion and garlic for a minute or until welted. Stir in the chicken meat while stirring it occasionally for about 6 minutes or until the chicken is totally cooked. Set the chicken aside to cool.

In a large mixing bowl, add olives, red bell pepper, basil, cashew nuts, lemon juice, chicken and pasta. Toss all the ingredients together until well blended, and then season it with salt and pepper.

Baked Chicken Pasta with Lasagna sauce

Ingredients
100g Pasta bowls or macaroni
4 mushrooms, chopped
1 Onion, diced
4-5 rashers of bacon
1 tray of Chicken deep fried strips
1 jar of creamy tomato sauce
1 jar of white lasagna sauce,
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
? cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup bread crumbs

Directions:

In a large frying pan, saute onion and mushrooms along with bacon and chicken strips. Boil pasta until tender in a saucepan with water for at least 12 minutes. Drain it and then add to the frying pan with the chicken and bacon let it simmer before adding the creamy tomato sauce. Stir it well to combine all the ingredients and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Grease a large shallow baking dish. Put chicken and pasta mixture into the dish and then pour a thin layer of lasagna white sauce over the top. Sprinkle it with grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with the breadcrumbs.
