Home Cardio Possibilities

Home cardio does not require that you go out and purchase expensive machinery. You, in fact, can perform cardiovascular exercise doing household chores. For instance, instead of walking around as you do the dishes–run. Do not just begin rolling the mop around the kitchen floor turn on some music and dance around and put some force behind the mop as you clean the floor.

When you vacuum your floor change the setting to a deeper clean which requires more force to move the cleaner. This will help you do crunches and built up not only the strength in your arms but also redefine your abdominal muscles. You can also perform lunges while pushing the vacuum around the floor.

While you clean high areas like ceiling fans instead of using a chair us a ladder than will require you to walk up and down. This will act as a stair master style workout without putting too much pressure on your knees.

The more cardiovascular exercise you perform the more fat you will burn. What better than to combine chores that must be accomplished every day anyway with exercise that will help you reach your weight loss goals. It is killing two birds with one stone so to speak.

You could also use the laundry as weights. Do not over load your basket in such an extreme that you injure your back or pull a muscle. But if you use the weight of the loaded basket you can perform a few lifts to work your upper body. You can do as few as ten lifts every time you take the laundry out of the dryer. You could also speed up your steps as you walk from the laundry room to your place of preference to fold your laundry.

Make sure you eat breakfast to include whole grains and fruits. This will boost your energy and your metabolism. Eat a light lunch to include greens such as a salad and vegetables. Do not over load a salad with heavy dressing. The key to lunch is to avoid foods that will cause you to become sleepy. This light lunch will prevent you from accomplishing your goals for the day, causing you to want to nap instead of work out. Get more information about Polar RS200 review or Polar RS800CX review.
