A job search for CNA work should be done as soon as you graduate and receive your certificate. Of course it helps to also do some preliminary work as well. For example, if you were in a co-op program through the nursing school then you should put some ‘feelers’ out to test the waters and see if the place you completed your clinical work is accepting applicants. It may be that you are one of the lucky ones and need not go further than this. It is possible that the health facility where you did your clinical work will hire you straight out of school.
