Jumping higher can effect our ability to win a competition. Sports are usually associated with jumping higher. You win because you shoot the ball or dunk the ball adding points to your score. It may not be easy to achieve but if one is determined it is possible. Make yourself get used to exercising and practicing often. Human beings can do this as our muscle and body are built up to jump higher. I may never say that all of us are capable; it still depends on our own interest. Jumping higher is importantly monitoring your weight, the heavier a person is, the difficulty to achieve your goal. Maintain your standard body weight against your height. Don’t gain especially when you are scheduled for a competition. Heavy weight distracts your concentration. Watch what you eat especially on junk foods, this would destroy your ambition. Athletes drink too much water. Water is a miracle of life, as coaches and trainers would say. Deal only with lighter foods like vegetables and fruits. Reduce the intake of rice, pasta noodles and bread as these are rich in carbohydrates that makes you gain weight fast. Determine you’re routine and make it a habit of following a proper exercise. Run as fast then jump directly as if reaching the top of a tadpole. You can do it as long as you are interested to do. Make use of your body to jumping and discipline your interest. Jumping higher is a born ability of human being, enhance and practice it and you’ll be on top in the Olympic list of awardees.

We may always dream of being an athlete. Not just an ordinary athlete but an Olympian who makes a history in sports arena and brings home the gold medal. I do watch sports television often and learn how to jump higher. I have realized then that every sports needs an athlete not just to be physically healthy but also has the ability. Ability which means that every player is capable to perform or do a score and that includes jumping higher. It is truly the important ability that a player needs to work out. Doing proper vertical jump training is very important.

Jumping higher is a tasking skill to think of but it takes an attitude to do it. Not only that as professional sports trainers are saying one has the determination or will power to follow every rule of exercise. Jumping higher can be achieved if someone has this capacity within himself. Trainers convey a little information about how to jump higher. Basically, they pointed on weight of a person. They should maintain a lighter weight as possible for them to easily carry themselves up the air. Monitor daily your weight and watch what you are eating. Less carbohydrate like rice if possible should be taken place of. You can increase vertical jump with proper training.

Drink lots of water and avoid alcohol and cola drinks. Sweet foods should be rid of as this would gain weight faster. Then, the rule of exercise will follow. Do a lot of bending and stretching. This would let use of your muscles move freely. Stretching helps you jump higher as this exercise will extend every bit of the nerves and veins in your body. Concentrate more on your legs and lower trunk. Although, the upper body will pull you up but the legs and hips will help your body lighten its weight when gravity works. Do a constant jumping and running together until your body will be used to it. Never lose hope as this skill will take you long to achieve. Better do practice daily and vision your dreams will come true.

The key to improving your jumping ability is strengthening your leg muscles. The human body has different muscles, joints and fibers that control ones ability to thrust upwards in an explosive manner and keep the body in mid air for a long period of time. There are different high vertical jump exercises that target different muscle groups, these exercises aim to work on the joints and muscles in order to develop and strengthen them to facilitate an improved vertical leap. Though it takes time before you can see some positive results, with hard work and dedication, you will eventually gain some inches to your vertical leap that might improve you overall game in just a few weeks.

You need to have a proper plan on how you will perform your exercises. There are different workouts you can perform to enhance your vertical leap but not all exercises are effective in improving your vertical leap. You should perform plyometrics workout to jump higher in variations to ensure you attain optimum results because each workout might target different muscle groups, fiber or joints. Some of these exercises include jumping ropes, stepping exercises and running the stairs among others.
